Behind A Dark Horizon is the idea of finding what inside you is needed to get something accomplished. This piece is named A Dark Horizon because we tend to see our highest goals and biggest dreams as unattainable, as something far and dark on the horizon. Although darkness and impediments may be there to traverse through as one journey's on their quest, if they believe enough in themselves, work hard, and never give up, they will succeed. A Dark Horizon was the winner of Imagine Music Publishing's 2008 Pathways Band Competition Contest. Included in The Pathways Series.
