♫ This song was originally written for a SATB choral cantata “Hope of the World” featuring prophecies of Messiah in the Hebrew Bible. It was added to our Christmas worship repertoire because of my belief that these verses should be fixed into the memory of every believer.
♫ Isaiah uses a chiasmus (X motif) to delineate the 4 units of the name of Messiah. Each of the 4 components speaks to the Deity and Humanity of Christ. The chiasmus is seen in the arrangement of the words.
