I confess that this piece was inspired by the raucous rock music that bled up to my upstairs apartment, late late late one Saturday night, back in the days when my neighbors led a much more interesting life than I did. I was injured and confined to the apartment—longing to escape—and this piece embodies that restlessness." Late intermediate level, theme with variations.
