Composed by Harald Genzmer. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 10 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q11444. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q11444).

The Hindemith pupil Harald Genzmer (1909–2007) worked with virtually all music genres and composed works for many, even unusual instruments (such as the trautonium). He also wrote compositions for the piano, of course, and in 1938 published a major work, Sonata No. 1. For Richards Laugs who had worked in Mannheim since 1945, first as musical director at the National Theatre, then as director of the local music academy, he wrote '3 Tänze' for piano the autograph of which was discovered among the effects of Laugs' widow only recently. These very enjoyable-to-play and melodious miniatures are published for the first time here.
