Here's a magnificent arrangement of Purcell's ever-popular Trumpet Voluntary! Nelhybel begins by setting up wonderful counterpoint by splitting the violins into four independent parts before bring in the violas, celli, and basses. It's very well-done, violins remain in first position throughout and any string orchestra at the medium-easy level will learn it quickly and perform it well.
