Based on the concept for Jerome Robbins' 1944 dance Fancy Free, which he had adapted to Bernstein's music, On the Town is a musical with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. First shown on Broadway in 1944, On the Town was later adapted for the big screen in 1949. Gene Kelly played

Gabey and co-directed the film alongside Stanley Donen. Four of the Bernstein songs including "I Can Cook Too" were retained in the film despite cutting out most of them.

This lively arrangement features the Euphonium & Baritone quartet section of the ensemble.
