Published by Dirk Radloff (A0.1268020).I have arranged this beautiful ballad of the swedish band "Ghost" for string quartet. When I firsdt heard the original I was immediately touched by the melancholic and romantic expression.
My arrangement is written for professional ensembles and requires experienced players. In my opinion a good arrangement have to consider the characteristics of the desired instrumentation, so don't expect just a note-for-note copy of the original. Since I am specialised on string quartet I try to implement the strengths of this famous instrumentation: Equal handling of the four voices, dialectic interaction and use of the complete tonal range. I am also not afraid of reharmonisation and other arranging-techniques to achieve a convincing result.
