By Chumbawumba. By Traditional. Arranged by Cat McGill. Folk,Traditional. Octavo. 2 pages. Cat McGill #855479. Published by Cat McGill (A0.1262435).

This is a simple arrangement of the British war song 'Hanging on the old barbed wire', featured on Chumbawumba's 'English Rebel Songs' album. It's a protest song describing how various officers are having a lovely old time drinking rum and feeling pleased with themselves, while the foot soldiers are doing all the fighting.

I've arranged it specifically so you can play with the arrangement to suit your group, taking parts out for different verses if you'd like, and adding dynamics to make it your own. It's scored as SAB but would also work as TTB.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
