The drum part isn’t written out other than suggestions for when to change the feel. The drummer is free to invent his or her own part with a rock or even eighth note feel.
2. Other rhythm players may play the written parts, invent their own or a mixture of both. The guitar part isn’t written out and contains only chord symbols except for the last three bars.
3. The bass part goes lower than the normal range (Db). The player may use a five-string bass, use drop tuning or transpose notes below E up an octave.
4. The first eight bars is an open repeat and an ad lib solo for either piano, guitar, bass or drums though other instruments may be chosen as well using the chord symbols from the first eight bars of letter D.
5. There are no key signatures but parts for saxes, trumpets and bass are transposed in the score.
6. Highest note for 1st trumpet is concert Bb above the staff. Highest note for 1st trombone is G above the staff.
7. The score and parts are sold separately because they have different page layouts which would cause some of the music to be obscured by the watermark if they were combined in one PDF file.
