It was first recorded by Ozzie Nelson but perhaps best known after it was sung by The Mamas & The Papas in the 1960's. It has also been used in TV, movies, and featured in commercials. This version for string trio strikes a balance between the rhythmic swing of a 1930's pop standard, blended with a more contemporary sound.
As with all of our string trio arrangements, the middle part is included in both alto and treble clef, giving you the flexibility of performing it with either two violins and cello OR violin, viola and cello.
