Frank Zappa, also known as The Idiot Bastard Son, was an American musician, composer, and film director. He was best known for his unique and diverse music style, which blended elements of rock, jazz, classical, and avant-garde music. He was also an outspoken critic of censorship and the government, and was an advocate for free speech and the right to express oneself. Zappa's albums, such as Hot Rats and Apostrophe, remain some of the most influential albums in rock history. Zappa also wrote music for film and television, and directed several feature-length films. He died in 1993, but his influence on music and culture continues to be felt today.
