This is a German version of the choir arrangement of "Land of the Silver Birch. Land der Silberbirken ist ein bekanntes Volkslied aus Ontario/Kanada, geschrieben im Geiste der einheimischen Bevölkerung. Es ist als “Kanu”-Lied bekannt und wird oft beim Lagerfeuer gesungen. Der Text dazu wird der Mohawk-Indianischen Dichterin [vielleicht fälschlich) Pauline Johnson (1862-1913) zugeschrieben, die die Traditionen ihres Volkes verherrlichte. Die englische Fassung ist auch hier im Verlag erhältlich.
