This simplified version of Shivers is a clean sheet music without chords symbols and fingerings. It features the melody in the right hand and the accompaniment in the left hand. The chord progression of Bm–G–D–A is present throughout the song. On the verse, the accompaniment consists of whole note chords in the left hand. Throughout the song, the accompaniment features subtle changes in the second verse and chorus. After the chorus, the first verse returns on the first ending. The bridge features the melody accompanied with half notes in the left hand. In the final section, the chorus reappears with a repeat sign. At the end of the song, a soft tonic chord appears contrasting with the cheerful idea of the chorus.
