This arrangement can be used as string orchestra (with piano/percussion) arrangement or with addition of winds up to full orchestra. All important melodic parts are embedded in the string parts. The Bass Clarinet doubles the Bassoon. Alto Saxophone I and Alto Saxophone II are "substitution" parts for French Horn I and II. Tenor Saxophone doubles Trombone II. Baritone Saxophone doubles Trombone III.
For this specific arrangement: While the arrangement can be played with just strings, it shines with the addition of the winds. If using percussion with just strings, adapt dynamics as needed. If you do not have a bell tree, substitute a cymbal scrape.
