(A0.836149).This cheerful jig is dedicated to my late friend Kathleen, a beloved member of the harp community in Los Angeles. Despite years of serious health challenges, she always radiated joy and was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her! She loved her pet bunnies, hence my choice of a Beatrix Potter painting of rabbits dancing a jig at a Christmas party, for the cover! I hope that the sunshine of Kathleen's spirit will come through whenever this music is played!
Although conceived as a harp solo (lever or pedal harp, no lever or pedal changes), you could have a flute or violin double the right-hand part. You could also turn it into an easy harp duet by having one person play the right-hand part, and the other person play the left-hand part! .
