Scarborough Faire is a traditional ballad of either English or Scottish origin. It tells the tale of a knight who is beset with a list of impossible tasks in order to regain the affections of his true love. This arrangement is for Early to Intermediate Beginners. It is for High Voice in D dorian mode (meaning D is the home note, but there are no sharps or flats) and has no lever changes. It can be played on a 26 string harp or larger. Chord symbols and fingerings with brackets are included, along with four printed verses for singing. The vocal range spans one octave: D above middle C to the D above treble C.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
