The day has ended, Pierrot goes to bed
He has been very good, very good
His mother kisses him
He goes to bed, happy with himself, and says,
"Will Grandpa and Grandma know that I've been very good?"
"Yes," replies his mother
"Who will tell them?"
"They will read it in the newspaper."
Pierrot falls asleep, filled with pride
