"Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" by J. Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie was first recorded by banjo player Harry Reser and his orchestra. Eddie Cantor debuted it on his radio program in November of 1934 and it became an instant hit. More than 500,000 copies of sheet music and 30,000 records were sold that first year. It’s been recorded by over 200 artists, including Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters, The Crystals, Mariah Carey, Neil Diamond, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Bill Evans, Chris Isaak, The Temptations, Michael Bublé, and The Jackson 5.

This arrangement for Swing Choir or vocal solo with full orchestra accompaniment swings with delightful background figures and many jazzy phrases. It will be a certain hit for your holiday concert.

The YouTube demo was created by NoteReader3 and us presented only fir demonstration purposes. .
