Published by Drake Mabry (A0.799406).After an energetic opening which evolves into polyphonic interplay, the work enters into what I call the "nostalgic music box" section played on the upper end of the piano. Eventually, the energetic opening sneaks back in featuring virtuosity and flamboyance until at the end where it drifts off into the night. The duration is 11 minutes. This comes from an earlier computer program copy thus the lower price.
The premiere was by Catherine Schneider at the American Church in Paris, France on February 11, 1990.
