Composed by Loggins and Messina. Arranged by John Pearson and edited Bill Carmody. Rock. Score,Set of Parts. 15 pages. Published by wjcarmody@gmail.com (S0.84041).This was the biggest hit for Loggins and Messina (1972). It is a standard blues progression and the melody is introduced by the trombone in its upper register. All the parts are clearly in the "fun" range. Some ad lib fills in the 1st trumpet. This tune harkens back to make-out sessions in the back seat - a more innocent time? Toe-tapping, crowd-pleasing fun.
