    The book is nicely sized and is not overwhelming. It should contain about 6 months of work for most intermediate players. The level of the exercises is very consistent. This is one of the only method books I have ever gone through from cover to cover. The book introduces fingerstyle...

    lines for a variety of grooves. The later ones sound so good by themseleves without a melody instrument playing you will definitely raise people's eyebrows and get their feet tapping when people hear you playing them for the first time. The book does not go into any great detail and the material MUST be extended through personal work to make it more usable. As a personal exercise I recorded a comping line for Fly Me To The Moon which is a good example of practical results that can be obtained by working through this method and then extending it. [...]
