This song was originally inspired by an old Tarzan film I saw as a child! Tarzan explained what ‘Ujima’ meant to Jane and the word / ethos, stuck with me. Forty years later…I was asked to write a song for a ‘whole-school celebration, to involve the audience and inspire co-operation’. So I used the idea for this song. Song Trax are available of the original recordings performed by staff and pupils of Knighton School 2000.
