    I agree with the first review that this is not Grade 3 material. While with a lot of practice they may be able to play it, this piece has challenging sections and many key changes. I agree with the assessment that this is more like Grade 5.

  • December 07, 2006 Great holiday medley...Not grade III

    This is a nicely arranged holiday medley that is a change of pace from the traditional orchestral literature. The trumpet and string parts, in particular, are in an extended range. The percussion parts require at least six players (including piano/synth) but would be better with more. The key signatures...

    can be a challenge -- ranging from F-sharp major to A-flat major and everything in between. There's some nice solo opportunities for the winds and plenty of technical passages to challenge everyone. Grade 3? I would say Grade 5. Enjoy!
