This spirited new musical provides an exciting opportunity to introduce your students to some of the greatest heroes and patriots in American history--those of the War of Independence. Students will discover, celebrate and learn about these courageous Americans who possessed strong beliefs in truth, justice and freedom, and whose deeds still define patriotism. With seven dynamic unison songs in a variety of styles woven together by a narrative script, this show is both versatile and flexible concerning cast size and its appeal to several grade levels, making it easy to produce and extremely adaptable to a variety of needs and situations. For those who wish to pursue a more involved production, a complete script in first person is also provided. This added option allows for actual characters with speaking roles, and also opens the door for additional creative costuming, props and sets. An excellent opportunity to join forces with your social studies, history or language arts teacher!
