    Difficulty Level:
  • May 04, 2006 Excellent! Solos included, very exact.

This book is an excellent tabbing of Janis Joplin songs for guitar. Both guitar parts are included when needed. Fills and solos are tabbed accurately. I highly recommend this for any guitarist wanting to add a little Janis to their songlist. One note of caution, Janis/Big Brother and the...

Holding Company played the same tunes in very different ways. Pay attention to which version is tabbed if you want to play along with the CD/record. For example, the version of Ball and Chain in this book is from Janis Joplin's Greatest Hits and is quite different than the version on the Cheap Thrills album. The original album is listed above the titles.

to idolize). If you can play guitar, you definitely need to pick this up. I've only been playing for 2 years, and I was able to do it. And even if you can't play guitar, it's got great pictures.
