Edward MacDowell wrote beautiful music for the piano. The Six Fancies was published under the pseudonym of Edgar Thorn in 1898. This arrangement for flute quartet (all C flutes) includes the first 3 of the 6 movements: A Tin Soldier's Love, To A Hummingbird, and Summer Song. .
