Composed by Respighi, Ottorino. Arranged by Malmstrom, Randall. 20th Century. Score and parts. 59 pages. Gordon Cherry #2066845. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.810736).

Respighi completed the 4-movement set of Biblical episodes entitled Church Windows in 1925. He actually composed the music first and then added the titles, dispelling any theory of specific religious fervor on his part, but rather having created a general mood with the music. St. Michael the Archangel, the "battle-scene" 2nd movement is about 6 minutes in length. Mr. Malmstrom has once again shown his talent for arranging large works for Trombone octet. It is appropriate for advanced performers. Printed in Canada.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
