It is awesome. In the DVD, she demonstrates great finesse and expertise. However, I need chords for my band to be able to back me up when I play these tunes. Has anyone written out the chords for these tunes? No chords were written in the book.

My students love this! They look forward to playing along with the authentic cd accompaniment at their lessons. Smiley music I call it :-)

Very playable, some third position which is disconcerting for a beginner. CD of course is helpful timesaver. For me the 'Freilachs fun LA' alone is worth the price of the book.

Of all Klezmer (with CD) books I have, this one is the best. You have a full performance on the CD followed by the accompaniment only. Great fun and the pieces seem to be built in some kind of technical progression. This book is a must!

A really great collection of tunes from fast dance pieces to slow tear jerkers. I bought this for my daughter,10, who has been playing violin for about 4 years. She really enjoys the pieces and has found enough challenge within the set. The CD is fun to listen to...

on its own, the solo violin being an inspiration. A super addition to any violinists repertoire and an excellent foil to Scottish and Irish fiddle music which is most commonly played here.
