(9 Brass) (Level 4) Michael Brecker's playful but intense hit tune from Don't Try This at Home comes to life for big band. A driving double-time feel, imaginative orchestration and some startling time shifts will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Solos are scored for tenor sax and trombone with others easily accommodated. But watch out! The bluesy coda comes out of left field, can get just a little raucous and is the perfect compliment to the rest of this delightfully quirky chart. Optional marimba/percussion.
