    I remembered performing this selection in a choral group from my childhood (more than 35 years ago!) and had probably not heard it until this holiday season when the Barbra Streisand solo version was featured on a radio broadcast. It moved me to tears after all this time! I realized...

    the selection would be ideal for an upcoming ecumenical choir festival our church was to be participating in. It was everything I remembered---I only wish that all the "combined choirs" from the multiple religious denominations involved could have performed it "en masse." Maybe next year!!!!

    I was so glad to finally find the sheet music to "One God". I think the message is as timely today as it was when the piece was popular. It was a piece that our chorus sang in high school (circa '59-'60-'61) and over the years it kept...

  • December 16, 2007 What an Awesome God we have

    This song is so meaningful especially if you have seen the video by Louis Giglio on the Wonders of God. Really go together. Sang this song in a girls choral group in high school in 1972 - title came back to mind instantly for its meaning.
