This book does have some mistakes as many texts do: in the song "In Bloom" my version (which may be pre-revised) shows B5 in the chord and the tab shows Bb5 instead) since the transcriber forgot to change the flats the software automatically puts in the chord. However, the...

people saying that the bridge in "Smells like Teen Spirit" is wrong are not correct- the bridge is fine- there are other notes in there (bass) that cover what the guitar is playing. When the bass plays a C the E5 in the guitar part starts to sound like Cmaj7. This is pretty clever harmonically and those that say the music is dead simple don't appreciate the skills that went into this music. These are great songs, well written and the album's production is terrific.

I found this book very accurate. The tabs are correct except for a small mistake here and there. BUT I was able to play some of Nirvana's best songs thanks to this tab book. Some songs might take a day or two to completely figure out but it overall...

makes you a great guitar player.

Great for beginner/advanced players I found maybe a couple small mistakes in the music. Better than the Incesticide transcription. Definitely more accurate than the FREE tabs online! BUY IT SUPPORT AND LIVE ON KURT'S LEGACY! BTW these idiots saying Nirvana is a "Bass band" and "these songs use...

a lot of effects" is such bs!They don't know what they are talking about, SLTS uses NO effects besides the solo. 99% of the music is CLEAN/DISTORTED guitar. if it does NOT sound right then YOUR NOT playing it right! People think a song sounds better on CD because he used "effects/better effects" FALSE. Theyre just not playing it 100% right. Been playing for 15 years thats exactly what I used to think "maybe he used some effect" no just not playing it right! Thats why it PAYS to learn SHEET MUSIC and NO tabs! Tabs cant teach a song perfectly like rhythm, sustain, bends/slides, etc. It just tells you what notes to hit. The rest has to be memorized by track

Yeah, the person who wrote Nirvana is a bass band is very mistaken. I can only think of about 2 Nirvana songs that were more bass oriented-Come As You Are and Lithium. But, great tabs, except a tad off. And to the person who wrote Kurt Cobain was one...

of the most influential guitarists of all time, I agree that Cobain was a fairly decent guitarist, but he will be remember to most of the world as an extremely revolutionary lyricist. Let the music of Nirvana live forver!
