Jazz choir (SSAATTBB choir, piano, bass and drums)
Composed by Scott Joplin (1868-1917). Arranged by Ward Swingle. Swingle Singers Series. Set of rhythm parts. Published by UNC Jazz Press (NC.VJ1368-R).

Item Number: NC.VJ1368-R

(Joplin/Isaacs) (Level 2) SSAATTBB, piano, bass and drums. This rag was originally called "Elite Syncopations." For the lyrics, Isaacs has imagined the story of a weakling who takes a physical fitness course from a "Mr. Superman" so that he no longer gets sand thrown in his face at the beach. In my arrangement, the weakling and Mr. Superman are sung as tenor and bass solos.
