(10 Brass) (Level 4) Commissioned by the UTA Jazz Orchestra for their 1995 "UTA at the Meyerson" appearance, this chart commemorates the UTAJO's summer 1995 tour to the Montreux, Switzerland jazz festival. You can picture the sun disappearing behind beautiful Lake Geneva as you listen to this gorgeous trombone (or tenor sax) ballad. Opens and closes with trombone section chorales, separated by a solo section for the trombone (or tenor) and a hard-swinging double-time shout chorus.
