Composed by Michel Bomier. 20th Century,Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 4 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #439783. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862582).

2015 Piano Contest This melody uses that time-honored method of melodic decoration, the grace-note, all through the piece. Graces from above and below hover around the notes of the Ab major scale, like lightning bugs, always ready to flash a bit of light before the primary notes. Simple and graceful, pun intended again, I guess! No added accidentals. Graces are both to and from black keys. Short duration. These gracenotes are not easy to play and keep track of, so at the indicated tempo this piece is Advanced intermediate. It will flow reasonably well at a slower pace for an intermediate player. MP3 MIDI audio.
