"Make Me a Channel of Your Peace," a paraphrase of the popular prayer by St. Francis of Assisi, is sung to a folk-like melody by Sebastian Temple (PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS) and supported by a constant gentle syncopated rhythmic figure in the organ accompaniment for the verses and a scaler countermelody for the Refrain. A warm and legato brass adds breadth and forward direction to the refrains in addition to providing.
