This exciting, driving piece was mentioned in Dr. Grerory's memoir as one of the first pieces of his to make an impression on her.

The piece is difficult at first until you learn the fingerings and the patterns. I have never heard a recording or performance of this piece and would like to. I hope I'm playing it right?

I have played piano for about nine years, and polished this piece in about two months. There is a large amount of thematic repition. If you can get past the odd 7/8 meter, and have reasonably fast fingers, this is a relatively easy piece to master in a short...

amount of time. This is a really fun piece to play at a fast tempo, you can almost get rough with it at times The last section is one of the harder ones, requiring some brief octave work in the right hand.
