This gentle, contemplative song will stay with you, as it did with the WLP staff when Trevor came in to sing it with us. Full of Advent imagery, the refrain says a lot with just a handful of easy-to-sing Latin words: "Light of the world, you dispel the darkness and illuminate our hearts." The verses name places of darkness in our lives and in the world, and pray for Jesus' presence, making it a useful piece for celebrations of reconciliation. The verses invite the choir or the whole assembly to respond, "Lux mundi, Lux mundi.".
