Lion-Hearted is one of the most recent and was composed for someone he met on his recent trip to South Africa. Leonard Brandt is a trumpet player in the East London area. He is the trumpet teacher and IT tech for Stirling High School.
While the miniatures are inspired by Fisher Tull's Eight Profiles, very few of them match Tull's style. But this one does. Lion-Hearted has the same compositional style as something Fisher Tull may have included in his book.
