Two P-90 soapbar pickups give JTV-59P a classic look, while the vintage tone is versatile enough for everything from classic edge-of-breakup blues tones to modern rock and beyond. Compared to traditional humbuckers, the sound of these single-coil pickups is somewhat brighter and more transparent.
