Well I started playing guitar in 1956 – so why did I need to buy a tutor? Well I had booked John Renbourn at my club many years ago – solo, and with Dorris Henderson, and I wanted to anilyse his style/s. It is very well constructed, but sadly the videos...

are no longer available. There are quite a few ideas here for guitarists to stretch themselves, my only concern with tutors such as these is – will we produce lots of Renbourn clones? I hope not! The value is in seeing how John attacks a song or tune, and then applying these ideas to your own material.
