    I bought this as well as Book Two. Book One is just slightly easier than Book Two, so is by no means a beginner book. There are some full-length songs as well as some shorter ones for the purposes of working a new skill. Everything is written out so...

    that no improvisation is required. There is a good mix of songs for which swung eighth notes are indicated versus others for which Kember indicated that the eighth notes are straight instead.
