The piece reflects on nature's ability to be both serene and powerful. It is a great introduction to contemporary chamber music, and is a wonderful addition to any concert for any occasion. This is the winner of the 2014 Third Millennium Ensemble Pre-College Prize, and a semi-finalist for the 2014 American Prize in Student Chamber Music Composition. It has been performed a number of times by the Ars Futura Ensemble.
