In the flurry of a snowfall, in the crisp of frosty ground,
In the flutter of the bird's wing, hear the call through nature's sound:

CHORUS
*Raise the joyful sound of Christmas, every one in every way,
Join with every voice proclaiming, Christ was born on Christmas Day.
*(alternative lyrics: "Join the music of December, everyone in every way,
Share the glad song of the season: Love is born again today!")

VERSE 2
In the frenzy of December, Joy and love send out their sound
In the noise of celebration.  Even there, the call is found: (to CHORUS)

In delighted cries of children, in the laughter of the old,
In the din of human family, Let the Christmas (season's) call take hold!
In the clamor of the church bells, in the singing clear and strong,
