I was impressed with the prompt arrival of the well-priced book. I have found the pieces give a good balance of playing and difficulty to each player and are fun to play. The CD is invaluable. Congratulations to the Editor and Arrangers.

These are fairly simple duets, but they didn't knock me over like Book 6 of the series and some of the little gems found in Melody Bober's duet books.

  • January 28, 2008 great recital duets!

I was really pleased with this book of duets. I thought they were very tastefully arranged, and had a nice contrast of pieces for any student. From the melodic "Greensleeves," to the rhythmic "Swing Low," the pieces are crowd pleasers, and fun to play. The accompanying CD is also a...

helpful tool for students, especially for hearing how the complex rhythms should sound. The book is a keeper for me -I don't think you'll be disappointed.
