The middle section is rather dramatic.....some quick-moving, ominous sounding arpeggios, followed by what sounds like a fanfare - probably heralding the success of the watchman in getting rid of the problem. After three repetitions - in different keys - of that middle section's motif, there is a brief return to the initial melosy.
