I ordered this piece because I've never done anything by Natalie Sleeth that I didn't like and this piece fits that category. My choirs, youth and adult, are having a wonderful and fun time with this piece. There are multiple possibilities for assigning parts and by the time...

we sing it in the Easter season, all participants will be able to sing all parts, except the descant which is reserved for trebles and sopranos. A great inter-generational piece.

I ordered this piece for a very small choir that doesn't sing on a regular basis. It was a bit of a chore to get them to understand how the parts fit together, but otherwise worked well. I love Natalie Sleethe's music! It is perfect for Easter

  • February 14, 2009 A Natalie Sleeth classic

Gaudeamus Hodie is a wonderfully joyful piece by Natalie Sleeth. Although written out in 3 parts, it is basically a three-part round, so it is easy to learn while sounding much more complex.

I am doing this song for choir, and I think that it is just wonderful! I got the descant for this song and it is a verry liberating and exciting song. We decided to sing this song in the different language that is is written....we are not singing it...

in english...so this song is eaiser to remember. In conclusion, I verry much like this song and I feel honered to sing it!
