For a Pepper Choplin number, this is a little laid back. Still a beautiful arrangement of two well known pieces inter-weaved together. Great piece for for a Sunday where the Worship theme is Jesus' baptism or whenever your church has a baptism.

  • August 30, 2012 Superb Anthem

This is a superb Choral anthem. With both "Shall We Gather At The River" growing in popularity. And "Down To The River To Pray" being well liked.Combining both in one Choral Anthem is a very superb ideal! Sundays when there are baptisms of infants or even adults this piece...

    would work beautifully!

  • January 13, 2012 Lovely and not too difficult

This is a unique combination of the two hymns. The part when they are sung simultaneously is a tiny bit strange harmonically but it seems to work. Our choir and congregation love it.
