This book is not too hard to play from and has most of the best songs from this 70's era Rock Band. If you are a fan of ELO, you will like it!

  • August 16, 2007 Some of Jeff Lynne's finest songs

The booklet contains both guitar chords and Tabs, contains all you need to play or learn these songs. The only problem is that the guitar chords are small so you'll need to write the chords, tabs onto sheet of paper larger or you'll get lost trying to keep...

playing and finding the chords, notes.

  • July 02, 2007 Overall a solid book.

The songs included are generally pretty well known and are tabbed quite well, including many of the rather important non-guitar parts. The only real song I felt was left off was "Do Ya," but the songs are a good selection of their better known songs, as should be expected...

from a single guitar songbook for an artist. Excluding "Do Ya" most of the rest of their songs are comparitively obscure or not particularly good selections for a guitar tab book (excluding "Roll Over Beethoven," but that is a cover and Chuck Berry's original version is pretty easily found).

  • November 25, 2002 It's a start

I was glad to see some sort of E.L.O. songbook come out. However, it would have been nice to see some of the more rockin' tunes that are more guitar based rather than synthesizer. Great band that deserves tons of credit. Pretty good mix of songs to start...

  • June 18, 2002 C'mon, it's great!

You too can play Xanadu, Turn to Stone, Mr. Blue Sky...c'mon, if you like Jeff Lynne, you'll like this book. Besides, if you can't spell "disappointment" don't use the word.
