This piece is designed to improve the player's ability to distinguish, through playing, voices amongst chords and accompaniment. While playing this piece, keep in mind that some melodic lines have been marked out through the use of slurs. Throughout the block chord sections it is up to the player to choose what voices, if any, take melodic priority.
