Emulating the contemporary style of the Yellowjackets, this work features a straight 8ths groove in 3/2 which creates a unique setting for some great solo and ensemble playing. It will take some work, but the results will be well worth it. Trumpet and tenor are the primary soloists, but both solo sections can be expanded for more players if desired. Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued. Duration ca. 6:45.
